COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the beer geek breakfast series the beer that really put Mikkeller on the map, we decided to shake things up by adding a truck load of vanilla to the french press coffee trick, creating a whole new dimension to the beer that are loved by freaks and geeks worldwide. Not only that, we then placed it in bourbon barrels for 8 months for a truly unique beer experience. Its dark, dangerous, sweet and incredibly tasty as you would expect, but most of all; its ready to conquer your breakfast table routines. Please note: The label is the same as the regular version. This one comes with a limited edition yellow wax.

Bottle, 06/08/2014. Pours thick oily black, nearly no head, bit of tan haze on the surface with a thin ring of lacing. Aroma is a smooth melange of coffee, dark roast poking through, chocolate caramel, vanilla bourbon. Taste is sweet caramel and chocolate. dark fruit swirled in, bitter ground roast coffee to balance, creamy vanilla on top, nice smooth bourbon finish. Thick, smooth creamy body. Delicious stuff.

330 mL bottle. Pours a murky black with no head. The thinnest of collars. Smells of vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and whiskey. Hefty oak. Tastes very oaky. Coffee throughout. Vanilla kicks in behind the coffee and makes it seem sweet. Bourbon kicks in and makes it seem less sweet. Eventually they combine to a bourbon and vanilla finish. Boozy and medium heavy with low carbonation. Excellent. Way over the top with the vanilla, but the barrel keeps it interesting.

Mikkeller vanilla Shake bourbon barrel aged Zapach: przepiękny : kokos, marcepan, wanilia, jakby pralinki z kokosem Smak : Słodziutki, kokosowy, troszke kawy, goryczka niewyczuwalna, migdały, wanilia, jednak leciutko za slodki. Podsumowując: naprawdę świetne piwo PIĘKNA SPRAWA

W aromacie wanilia, kokos, marcepan lekka kawa. Potężna beczka, ułożone, słodkie. Zero alkoholu.

W smaku przypomina mi lody waniliowe z grycana z dodatkiem czekolady.
