COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330ml brown bottle. Golden pour, light haze. Big white creamy head with a lot of messy lacing. Nose has bright orange peel, a bit of sweetness, some fruitiness. Taste has a bit of sweetness and fruitiness, pithy orange peels, lemon, a little yeast and alcohol. Spices and herbal hops in the finish. Medium bodied, fairly big carbonation. A bit alcoholic, suitably dry finish. Pretty enjoyable and hoppier than most examples I’ve had.

Aus der Flasche 2017-01 getrunken. Ein sehr gutes aber auch sehr typsiches Abbey Tripel. Ein feines Teil!

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of yeast, ester, malt, apple and mild funk. Taste has yeast ester, malt, apple, sugar, creamy oat, spices and a sweet somewhat boozy finish. Solid.

On tap at Bangers & Lace. Very nice Tripel, light bodied, sweet, bright, smooth, everything you want out of a good Tripel. Sweet without being too sweet. A good tang on the finish. No complaints.

tricksta_p (4650) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - DEC 2, 2016
Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is bready malt, ripe - almost dried - fruits, yeast, sweet apricot, ripe nectarine, caramel, some alcohol, spicy notes. Flavour is rather sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Some more alcohol in the flavour. Body is above medium. A bit boozy and sweet and hardly world class, but a nice slow sipper Tripel.

330ml bottle - thanks Martjoobolut
Sweet fruity aroma, lots of apple, almond, but a bit solvently, more perfume later. Sweet and solventy in the mouth, some apple pie. Did I mention sweet? Finish has a dry bitterness, leaves the tongue feeling like I licked a dusty floor. Alcohol so not hidden, and the solvents never go away. Messy hot brew. Going blind!!!!

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 7, 2016
330ml bottle (thanks Mart). Slightly hazy amber color. Tiny size, white head, stays as a layer. Sweet, caramel, acetone, baked apples, alcohol in aroma. Sweet, apples, alcohol, minerals, yeasty in taste. Apples and sweet and alcohol in aftertaste. Fizzy carbonation. Sweet and alcoholic brew.

Bottle (from beergium). Pours light amber. Aroma is sweet, fruity, floral, soapy Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, fruits, citrus, sugar. Finish is sweet and dry bitter with some booze. Overall: good, bit boozy and simple.

oliodnb (662) - ITALY - APR 7, 2016
33cl bottle. Pours hazy orange golden with two fingers of creamy off white head. Very good rendition of a Belgian tripel: yeast, coriander, orange peel, sweet malts. Nothing exceptional but very well made.

Mjp12 (1864) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2016
Pours from a bottle a slightly murky pale brown, with some sediment left in the bottle. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma, it has the candy sweetness of a tripel, but there is a slight bitter/ spice finish, which makes it quite drinkable.
