Draught, Brew Dog, Manchester. Hazy orange looks with a small off white head. Fragrant, yeasty nose. Oily mouthfeel. Sweet flavour with some fruits and yeast, but all too prominent booze. Disappointingly average. Miss.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is bready malt, ripe - almost dried - fruits, yeast, sweet apricot, ripe nectarine, caramel, some alcohol, spicy notes. Flavour is rather sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Some more alcohol in the flavour. Body is above medium. A bit boozy and sweet and hardly world class, but a nice slow sipper Tripel.

Sweet fruity aroma, lots of apple, almond, but a bit solvently, more perfume later. Sweet and solventy in the mouth, some apple pie. Did I mention sweet? Finish has a dry bitterness, leaves the tongue feeling like I licked a dusty floor. Alcohol so not hidden, and the solvents never go away. Messy hot brew. Going blind!!!!

Pours from a bottle a slightly murky pale brown, with some sediment left in the bottle. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma, it has the candy sweetness of a tripel, but there is a slight bitter/ spice finish, which makes it quite drinkable.
