375mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a murky dark mahogany with thin layer of tan head - lots of visible sediment also. Aroma is extremely complex, with loads of treacle toffee, rich dark fruits, vanilla and a wonderful bourbon barrel quality. Flavour is quite complex too with a lot of the booze upfront without taking away from the flavours - treacle toffee, dark fruits, candied sugar, and vanilla - the bourbon is not so prominent but subtly accentuates the already complex flavour of the base beer. Finishes boozy and sweet. Wonderful slow sipper.
