Meilby (11517) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle 375ml @ Geokkjer
Pours cloudy dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, vinous, oak, alcohol and some fruitiness. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long alcohol, oak, fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

hopscotch (11161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 9, 2011
Bottle… Farewell to ibrew2or3… Hazy burnt-orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. The bouquet is a malty, vinous marriage of caramel, ethanol and toasted oak with a kiss of Cabernet. Full-bodied and velvety with soft carbonation. The flavor is a blend of sweet caramel and bitter, citric, tannic hops. Tilts way bitter. Tannic, raspy, bitter finish that dries out quite a bit. Bottle courtesy of ibrew2or3!

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Reddish pour at the FW fest. Off white head. Aroma is loaded with sticky malts, light tartness from the wine barrels, some boozey notes and a wisp of hops. Flavor is all over the place, in a good way! Red wine, booze, oak, caramel, toffee, sweet bready yeasty goodness.

cubs (10639) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Bottle @ dan’s house. Hazy, red violet appearance with a tan head. Rich caramel, toffee, light chocolate, slightly fruity, mild vinous aroma. Rich, quite mild red vinous, caramel, toffee, sweet malty flavor. Very nice beer that I’m enjoying way more than the normal version.

BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle. Murky reddish amber pour with a monster foamy head. Looks amazing. Aroma is spicy, mild oak, and dark fruit. Nice complex taste - spices, sour, wine. Excellent brew!

marcus (10347) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 20, 2011
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours reddish copper with a thin beige head and very complex aroma with wine, fruit, toffee, oak and alcohol. There is a fruity flavor that is also blessed with lots of oak and wine, and leaves a warming alcohol trail. This is my favorite in the "Worse" series. Not barleywine sweet.

phaleslu (10336) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 13, 2015
375 ml bottle from The Wine and Cheese Place. Pours a hazed amber with a small, wispy off-white head. Has started to dull; 2011 vintage. The nose has held up, though. Notes of caramel, brown sugar, dry grains, toast, oak, cake, vanilla, and red wine - although the vinous character seems to have given way to the underlying barley wine malt sweetness. Light-medium bodied, with low carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Still pretty good.

sebletitje (10095) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JAN 20, 2014
50cl bouteille @ RBBWG III, thanks Domiens.
