Had this one @ CBF 2010. Amber colored brew. Thick brew. Hoppy aroma. Stickyness, syruppie. Alcoholic.

JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - JUN 11, 2010
Faintly hazed foxy red beer with medium, sligthly yellowish head as whipped eggwhite. Fruity aromas jumping out of the glass, especially passion fruit, also mango, orange, grapefruit, white grapes. And USA hops, getting drier, hopbales like. Very fruity bittersweet flavour; bitter oranges, kumquats, grapefruit, pineapple- and strawberryesters. Caramel, toffee, maple syrup and fusels. Oh, and some hops... Alcoholwarming, very slick-oily. Fiery, yet drinkable. Warming up, benzeneFruitester bomb, superbly hopped, yet adequate malts. Mikkeller seems to get better every month... though this one reminds me of Mikkels’ first homebrew Barley Wine I ever tasted.

On Tap at TAP 1, Copenhagen 08/05/2010 Hoppy aroma. Golden amber coloured and hoppy. A little sweet on the palate with a slightly dry malt finish.

[email protected] BeerFest2010. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some mild yeast, alcohol and gluelike sweetness. Flavour is fruits, alcohol, a bit gluelike sweet. A bit unbalanced, and not all too pleasant.

Slipstream (2702) - USA - MAY 27, 2010
This big barley wine was on tap at Rattle’n’Hum. ABV was listed as 12%, not 17%. Lightly fruity and honey-sweet aroma. Sheet lacing on the glass. Very smooth for the style, without a lot of the earthy, yeasty funk one sometimes finds in a barley wine. Fairly sweet, but well hopped too. A very good barley wine that was selling for the high price of $7 (US) for a half pint.

bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 26, 2010
Bottle. Toffee colored beer with a cream colored head. Pine and grapefruit aroma with big alcohol notes and sweet caramel. Alcohol flavor with pine, summer fruit, and caramel. Medium-plus bodied. Alcohol and sweet malt linger with summer fruit and pine.

caesar (7277) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2010
Tap @ Copenhagen 2010. Slight hazy copper color, short head. Firm malty body. Alcoholic raisiny sweetness. Bit over the top. Preferred the cat in the barrel.

250ml from tap at Ørsted Ølbar & Café. Murky, dark reddish body, no head. Aroma of sweet dried fruits. Sweet hops and dried fruits in flavour, dominated by apricots. Moderate impact of alcohol on the palate. Alright sipper that gets a bit too sweet (Copenhagen, 09.05.2010).

uhre (384) - DENMARK - MAY 20, 2010
Aroma has alcohol and hops. The flavor is sweet and it has hops and alcohol, in a very balanced way.

skortila (5985) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAY 20, 2010
@ CBF 2010. The aroma has berries, some citrus, caramel, raisin. Copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is sweet with raisin, berries, citrus, caramel, alcohol. Even some grassy hops. Good body.
