Thanks to yespr for that one. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also, brown, very small head. Fiery aroma. Starts very strong, malty, some fruity notes, but alcohol is dominating. Burning finish, a bit oily, long warming aftertaste. Really impressing beer!

Tasting at Thorups, Aarhus, DK. Bottled, 230311. Amber with small head. Aroma of alcohol, vanilla and malt - some green apples. Flavor with caramel and more alcohol.

Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet malty, dried fruit and moderate alcoholic. Flavor is very sweet and light bitter. Very sweet finish with loads of alcohol. Sticky. Too sweet and too much alcohol for my liking. 230311

@ACBF 2011. The alcohol burn is quite prevalent throughout the sip - strong bourbon flavors!

Medium beige head. Hazy brown body. Alcoholic fruity aroma. Sweet alcoholic taste with raisiny fruity notes. Full-bodied. Hot, sharp mouthfeel. Dry-sweet wine grapes and sugar aftertaste with oily hoppy notes. Lots of alcohol, but not much else. (0.375l bottle, lbutikken, Copenhagen.)

Bottle @ ACBF 2011. Orange clear liquid, with teardrops to the glasswork. Vinous, sweet, oak & earthyness aromas. Very warming alcoholic MF.

Agreed, theres lots of alcohol... But what is so special is that the alcohol only comes after the taste explosion in the mouth: first a nutty hint, then chocolate and finally confited orange peels... The danger is that it srinks so easily...

Sweet, vinous, mostly alcohol. Like a cheap licuor. Does not work as a beer. Brutal. A little malt extract, no bourbon character. Mostly for the Guinness book of records.
