COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
No freeze distilling needed. This beer has been barrelaged 10 times on different bourbon barrels. It took us two years to bring the imperial stout Black up from the original 18% ABV to the amazing 26,1%.How about the taste? There is a reason it is called the “Black Fist”. Decant it as we suggest in the serving tips, and you will have a mindblowing experience. This beer is complex.

Shared a bottle yesterday with a friend. Black liquid with a very small brown head which disappeared in a few seconds. Lots of caramel in the aroma along with roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Very sweet taste of bourbon, caramel, chocolate. Light bitterness. Nice alcohol burn, it wasn’t as harsh as I thought it would be. Creamy and thick texture. soft carbonation. Not that complex at all, still a great beer and a bomb of flavours.

The Black Tasting hosted by Kraddel 17/10/2017. Booze, booze and booze. Some roasted and oak, but I'm overwhelmed by so much booze. Palate is oily. Aftertaste is roasted and boozy. Or what did you expect?

Cool bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out a dark brown with no head. The nose is strait booze I thought I was going to burn my nose hairs off. Wow taste is a hot booze mess. The best thing about this beer was the bottle.

Shared bottle. Black, obviously, body with a small tan head. Aroma is extremely boozy, roasty with paint thinner. Taste is boozy, roasty and sweet. Bitter coffee and medicinal hoppyness. Quite an effort to actually drink this. It’s not like you’re looking forward to the next sip. Give it 10 more years in the bottle maybe..

14.07.2017, 0,375l bottle shared @ local tasting:
Nice light brown bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry sour-ish mineraly, dark malts, booze, minerals, toast, bark, bourbon, weeds, dark sugar, vanilla. Taste is sweet boozy, dark sugar, booze, minerals, oak, bourbon, dark malts, burnt toast, chocolate, caramel, grass, weeds. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough. At least it’s way better than Black...

From the 375 ml bottle. Slick oil and booze in nose with some chocolate and a lot of booze. Good in small sips.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Potężne, bardzo bogate piwo o likierowej wręcz gęstości. Paloność, kawa, likier kakaowy, lukrecja, ciemne owoce. Wyraźny alkohol, ale nie aż tak jak w Black Damnation: Double Black. Piwo-wyzwanie :)
