6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 Warehouse. Big thanks to Alex for allowing us to take this bottle from his stock! Black beer, light brown head. Smooth dry palate. Sweet dark malt with a little spice. The bourbon is quite subtle but there is a lot of unsweet dark chocolate. Finishes dry and roasty. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 9, 2010
Bottle at Pizzeria Paradiso. This one pales in comparison to the rhum version (no pun intended). I suspect it;s been far too long in the cask, or a far too large doe of bourbon. No beer comes through here, it only whiskey and nothing else. I shared it with the beer manager and bar staff, and they drain poured it. Enough said.
