Draft. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of dextrose, roasted malt, and chocolate, as well as lighter notes of cognac. The flavor is very sweet with notes of dextrose, alcohol, roasted malt, and chocolate, as well as a lighter note of cognac carried on by the alcohol, leading to a dry, roasted, and alcoholic finish. BF 2011. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is alcohol, wood, mimld toast and some slight liquorice. Flavour is quite similar. Very mellow and balanced. Of these three new ones this is my favourite.
Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Very black, brownish head. Fruit ylicorice aroma. Sweet and very full bodied. Cognac is rather subtle, adds more fruitiness than flavour. Lots of licorice befoer a tarry finish with peppery alcohol. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2011
