Bottle shared @ weekly tasting. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of coffee, liquor, roastyness, only lightly peat...Total surprise... Love this beer. Full body, oily texture, medium to full carbonation. Great beer.

Dogbrick (13036) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Sample at the "Far Out! Space-themed beer tasting" on 10/01/2013. Pours a glassy black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoked malt, coffee and oak. Full-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, peat and dark fruit. The finish is peaty with an earthy and oaky vanilla aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

3.5
Yorker (2007) - Herning, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2013
Corked 37.5 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with some sediment and a tiny tan head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is peat, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, and coffee. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a bitter, peaty finish.
