In bottle at The Anderson. A very dark brown beer with a thin tan head. Full on Islay whisky aroma of iodine, smoke, oak and roasty malt with hazelnut and chocolate. Similar flavours with upfront Islay whisky, chocolate, and roasty malt. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Fairly bitter with a nice lingering alcohol hum. Not overly balanced but very nice nonetheless. ryanfolty (2659) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - APR 6, 2012
