ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2017
Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a jet black body with a small light beige head. Nose is chocolate, schnapps, herbs, coffee, wood, charcoal and hints of ashes, caramel and leather. Taste is caramel, leather, booze, wood, chocolate, cocoa, coconut and hints of vanilla, toffee and biscuits. Full body, medium carbonation. Surprisingly drinkable and smooth for such a massive beer. Nice!

beer-yum (1652) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 29, 2016
Huge coffee licorice aroma in an inky jet black pour. An amazing brew that totally hides its strength without the usual sickly sweetness. Major flavors match the aroma (coffee and licorice) - but there are hints of cocoa and vanilla in there too. A superb beer given its "over the top"ness.
