This is an 18% beer didn’t know that. Its full bodied with the dark tones that a black beer should have bet the sweetness and the body of a barleywine. Its a very good beer but be awake its a LOT of alcohol.
The Black tasting hosted by Kraddel 17/10/2017. Bottle 2012.
Very nice boozy aroma with dried red fruits. Taste is raisins and nice dark sugar sweetness. Smooth and full body palate. Hint of sourness, blueberries an red fruit in aftertaste. Very nice. kraddel (9335) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - OCT 17, 2017
Bottle at the black tasting. Pours black, small layer of an off white head. Smell is full, roasty, oak, mild sharp booze that doesnt bother me. Aromatic, almost fruity alcohol. Taste is sharp, intense grainy, bit booze, mild spirit features. Some vanilla. Very nice. Too boozy, but not bad at all. tmrmwel (2314) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2017

Huge coffee licorice aroma in an inky jet black pour. An amazing brew that totally hides its strength without the usual sickly sweetness. Major flavors match the aroma (coffee and licorice) - but there are hints of cocoa and vanilla in there too. A superb beer given its "over the top"ness. llkc (2838) - århus, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2015

Looks.. Black, slight brown hue, sml tan head
Smells..whisky liquor barrel, boozy as, some of the imp stout character.. Choc and coffee
Tastes..extremely alcohol, whiskey, heavy roasted bitter coffee, some choc.. Loads of heat, but decadent and delicious. Zita (6331) - Assentoft, DENMARK - APR 3, 2015
nice burnt Vanilla whisky aroma, black, brown foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation, very alcoholic finish. Hansen (8621) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2015
Somehow just another imperial stout. Dark brown coloured with an off-white head, medium duration. Roasted aroma, sweet sugars, port-wine. Burnt notes and warming alcohol.
