500 ml bottle. Pours dark brown to black with some reddish highlights at the edges and a small tan head. The aroma has dark roasted malts, almost charred and a big, peaty scotch whiskey component. Lighter notes of honey sweetness and wood. The flavor has some hints of dark chocolate and honey from the base beer with char and more heavy peated scotch whiskey. I’m sure some appreciate this, but I like to get more from the base beer.
Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Niestety - bardzo słabo się zestarzało, wyszły jakieś kartonowo-szmaciane klimaty. Malin_aiisa (1130) - SWEDEN - NOV 12, 2016

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle. Pitch black with a brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and some licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, vanilla and hazelnut, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good! Beerhunter111 (20344) - P´Castle, GERMANY - SEP 30, 2016

Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Black body with a beige head that coats the glass in sticky lacing. Aromas of oak, scotch, chocolate. Scotch dominates the aroma and flavor, finishing with a tannic note. A hint of vanilla with lots of wood. Honey comes in mid to late palate, offering a sweetness that nicely counters the oaky nature of the beer. Pretty good. Bottle, a nice one, BB 180514. Pours pitch vinous black with awesome tan mocha head, ever lasting. Aroma has honest, bourbon, heather, sweet leather, yam, oak, dry wood, malt, toast, raisins, smoke, peat, char and tar. Taste is peat, char, sweet port, liquor, dark fruits, malts, burnt sugar and malts, mead, hard roast. Some sherry acidity, spicy heather honest. The comes the all dry tar smoky peaty oak. Long roasty smoky finish. Sticky body with low carbonation. Slight warming and vanilla spice. So dry! some alcohol, liquorice root, figs in booze, whisky character in finish. Shame with the light body due to the age. Awesome. neongolden (1610) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 15, 2015
(500ml bottle brewed 2009 and BB 2014, @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Apr 9 2015) Pours pitch black with a decent pale tan head. Aroma is wet potting soil and vermiculite up top, below is sweet dark honey, herbal, maybe some wild berries, molasses, light roast, hints of scotch. Flavour is sweet honey and toffee, dark malt, heather?, some wood, whiskey and peat. Dry, peaty, musty finish. Full intense body with soft carbonation. Wow, totally different than imp stouts I’m used to, from Mikkeller or otherwise. Love the combination of scotch/herbal/roasty characters. Very complex, can’t explain it well, love to sip it and think though.
