On tap @ 2nd BBF. The aroma has grapefruits, grass, caramel. Clear amber coloured beer with not much head. The taste is bitter, citric (grapefruit), has some grass and pine. Bit juicy mouthfeel. Nice.

Draught at Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Clear red/amber - white head. Caramel, light body, grassy, light bitterness, medium hoppy, light salty ??? A bit simple.

24th September 2010. Borefts Beer Festival.
Hazy amber beer with a good creamy head. Creamy malt, some slightly sour fruit. Nicely integrated. Finishes dry with a mildly bitter aftertaste.

caesar (7332) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2010
Tap @ BBF ’10. Clear orange color, hardly any head. Slight hoppy aroma, bit bocky bitter taste. Not like the original Vuur & Vlam, but indeed more bocky. Still pretty nice.

Tap at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. Clean well balanced hops. I don’t notice the bock, but the vuur en vlam is well made. Might be a winner of the contest.

Draught at Borefts Bier Festival 2010.
Clear orange coloured with a small off-white head.
Fruity aroma of hops and grass with notes of candies and yeast.
Fruity flavour of hops and grass with notes of vegetables and grape fruits.
Dry hoppy finish.

meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2010
[email protected] Out of the ordinary IPA. A lot darker, brownish even. Very strongly hopped though, lot’s of bitterness, grass and lightly floral. Malty, hint of toffee and chocolate. Nice brew.
