Tap at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. Clean well balanced hops. I don’t notice the bock, but the vuur en vlam is well made. Might be a winner of the contest.

Tap @ BBF 2010. Dark orange with ok white head. Fruity aroma with hints of hops, orange, citrus and grapefruit. Smooth, easy going Vuur & Vlam with a nice hoppy taste. Ok bitter aftertaste. Nice one.

24th September 2010. Borefts Beer Festival.
Hazy amber beer with a good creamy head. Creamy malt, some slightly sour fruit. Nicely integrated. Finishes dry with a mildly bitter aftertaste.

Travlr (25854) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010, courtesy of Mikkel and the boys - thanks! Darker and slightly sweeter than the other V&V offerings, still a nice pine and grass aroma and bitter finish.

caesar (7170) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2010
Tap @ BBF ’10. Clear orange color, hardly any head. Slight hoppy aroma, bit bocky bitter taste. Not like the original Vuur & Vlam, but indeed more bocky. Still pretty nice.

Plovmand (8595) - Grindsted, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2010
From tap at Borefts Festival. Hazy golden with a creamy white head. The aroma is hops, citrus, peach and caramel. Quite dry flavour of pine, citrus, caramel and peach.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2010
Handbottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Sweet aroma of nuts, overripe fruit and a little citrusy hops. Quite full-bodied, again nutty accents, some phenols and a fairly hoppy and bitter finish. Fairly warming alcohol in the finish. Very different from other Mikkeller IPAs. 280910

cgarvieuk (25744) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2010
At De Molen festival 2010 ... copper ... no head ... sweet fruity juicy light orange hop ... little peach nose... light dry fruity hop ... juicy light sweetness ... little peach ... little toffee linger

Ober (2819) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2010
Tap @ 2e BBF. A clear amber colored beer, with a light brown/beige head. The aroma of hop bitter with notes of fruits. The taste has also hop bitters with some sweet fruits. The aftertaste is bittersweet and dry.
