Orangey colour with lasting soapy head. Aroma and flavour are strong with piney hops and bitter citrus peel. This one has a pronounced taste of syrupy, heavily reduced tropical fruit juice.

Can shared. Hazy dark-ish orange with a thin off-white head. Notes of pine resin, orange, grapefruit, caramel, floral and spicy components. Very nice, one of my favourite hops.

Semi-clear amber pour with medium frothy head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is moderately intense floral hops with orange peel and pineapple coming to mind. Taste is hoppy in a moderately bitter fashion, again with floral and citrusy notes reminiscent of orange, lime and mango. Short, bittersweet aftertaste. Medium bodied, smooth creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation levels. A good one, but aromas and flavors are a bit on a low-key.

Almost clear orange color with off-white head. Aroma is floral, citrusy, also a bit dank. Taste is slightly sweet and malty at first, continues with fruity hop flavors, finishes with medium bitterness and yellow grapefruit flavor. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Overall its another good beer from the IIPA single hop series.

Can 330ml. @ home.

[ As Mikkeller Cascade IIPA ].
Light light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, light grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, pale malt, hoppy, hop bitter, sweet malt, light old hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 330ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Two-finger sized pearl white head. Fine retention. Spotty lacing. Cloudy orange-god body. Well hopped on the nose, orange and peaches, hints of brown malts. Hopped depth flavours of peaches, apricot and orange. Lingering dry bitter finish. Full bodied. Enjoying stuff (Troms 10.03.2017).

33cl bb11/2017 - Decent golden fluffy pour. Nose of petrol&jenever-pickled sweet green paprika, stewed tangerine and cooked garden herbs - quite some vodka/jenever there though not in a fuming & phenolic Belgian tripel sense...Mouthfeel is on point as always with Mikkeller - no empty crystal malts breaking up into sugar lumps underneath. Quite resinous tangerine peel coated by vegetal spice, thai basil, roasted bell pepper - in-depth tasting notes by 77ships here underneath that sound very suggestive. Spiky Cascade Single hop is not my favourite - I think it peaks in Liberty Ale at 5,9%. Should go well with Ottolenghi cuisine mimicking and cutting through vegetable cream...

330 ml. can. BBF 15/11/17. Near clear (interesting) bright golden, creamy white head. Nose is green near diesel USA hop, bigger malt base, rosemary hop, green, almost parsley, malty, big USA hop, some quite interesting notes. Taste is interesting oily lemon hop, yeasty, big malt, Aloe Vera, hand balm, faint coriander hop, creamy yeast, oily, near boozy, green hop, oily sweet grape, almost dried kiwi,... Hitting lots of odd & interesting notes. Peculiar, quite nice, creamy yeast, hop oil, green fresh eatable plants. Faint parsley. Much like the Mikkeller Mosaic IIPA this one carries some quite interesting notes, bit peculiar, got into it, interesting brew.

Grapefruit, pine, caramel malt... slight alcohol burn, bitter finish. Good IIPA, but quite standard...
