330ml can bought at HK Brewcraft in Central.
Looks: Translucent orange honey colour; Two finger head with crumpety off-white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Beautiful sticky lacing with slight carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant full Ale malt, with strong grapefruits, strong yellow fruits, tropical fruits, floral, sugar, spices, light herbs, pine, bread, strong lemon peels and strong sharp grass.
Taste: Close to medium sweet full Ale malt, with strong Amberness, strong grapefruits, citrus, floral, molasses, spices, pine, resins, herbs, biscuits, very strong lime, close to strong bitter hops and sharp grass.
Body: Full body. Thick and very oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Rich Ale maltyness in a pretty creamy and viscous background. Very limey from the get go, followed by very oozy pine and grapefruits. Flowery with medium sweetness, spicy herbal with strong citrus to round. Fruity and nice!
Hoppiness: Strong grapefruits, strong yellow fruits, tropical fruits, floral, spices, herbs, pine, lemon peels and sharp grass in nose. Strong lime, citrus, floral, spices, pine, strong resins, herbs and sharp grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, close to high astringent bitter-sweet malty finish.
After Taste: Quite dry. Very limey oozy and bitter to mouth.
Comments: The cascade is doing some wonder to this one, with some pretty nice touch of tropical aroma and oozy taste on top of a malty, very hoppy lime-driven base. Lots of nice Cascade here and its seems to push the hops to the limit. A solid single hop IIPA!
A 330ml can with a best before date of 15th November 2017. Poured into a Mikkeller tasting glass. It was a lightly hazy golden orange colour with a two finger frothy white head that had good retention and left nice lacing. Aromas of orange juice, honey, pine and caramel with hints of grapefruit. Tastes of bittersweet orange juice, grapefruit, pine and caramel while at the same time, quite boozy. Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation. Overall this was one was not really for me. My least favourite of the four single hop IIPA’s that I tried. It was the clear booziness that took away from my fully appreciating this. CacheManyHose (737) - HONG KONG - JUL 29, 2017
Can from Brewcraft, drank with three of the other Mikkelle Single Hop IIPA series: Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra. Lightly floral and peppery hop, grassy, faint stony fridge produce drawer and slight mustiness (gym socks?), little bit of plastic, crisp malt. Medium with a toasty bitterness - hop is less intense than the others. Taste has a bright peppery spiciness. Like the smell and taste of the Cascade the least of the four - light but emptier tasting.

Can from Brewcraft at home - along with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe. This one the clearest of the bunch. Dull golden. Doesn’t seem super fresh. Sudsy white head. Aroma is floral with grapefruit zest, some mustiness. Taste is more bitter pith with some sweet malt. The most straightforward, cleanest taste of the four, slight toastiness. Least interesting aroma. Least interesting taste too. kapusil (1437) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 16, 2017
0.33l can. Hazy deep golden body with a lasting white head. It starts with notes of grapefruit and grapeseed followed by grass, caramel and some stone fruits. Decent IIPA. the_beergery (96) - - JUL 12, 2017
Poured this from a 330 ml can with the same design as the bottle, into a tulip glass. Could not pour out the whole can because of the massive head of white froth which develops straight out of the an over the hazy golden orange tone of the brew. THe aromas are a mix of fruit, citrus, pine and florals, although a bit more muted and mixed than some of their other single hop IIPAs. Taste-wise, there is a light sweetness, mixed with a somewhat heavier bitterness, plenty of fruitiness and pine bitter, making it quite mellow and balanced. This brew is medium bodied, enhanced by the soft to medium carbonation. Nice! beermaris (271) - LATVIA - JUL 11, 2017
Cloudy amber exterior. Strong bitter aroma and re same goes for taste. Rich in taste nuances ZodiacM (1210) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2017
LCI. Uit blik geschonken. Prima IIPA, geen echte topper, maar gewoon lekker: zoet, bitter, hoppig, fruitig, boozy. Lekker!
