Dull, dark honey body with short head. Orange on the aroma, the star anise just comes through in taste after the orange, drinkable especially as a winter beer. Different (203) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2010

Bottled (from Kihoskh). Amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, some mild caramel and some fruits. Flavour is fruits, wood, some mild grassyness and some herbal notes. Quite pleasant. caesar (7096) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2010
Bottled. Clear amber color, medium off-white head. Spicy aroma of some orange, anis, some pils malt. Quite sweet taste, bit peppery, sugar, anis. Quite spicy for such a light-bodied beer. I wonder if it is the winter version i have btw, the bottle clearly states it’s meant for winter, but it doesnt say winter in the title. altonbrownd (5898) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - APR 26, 2010
Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice red amber body with medium head. Nose of caramel and malts. Also sweet anise. Taste was a bit malty with plenty of anise. I was worried at first, but tasted quite good. More hoppier and bitter in the finish.
