Great mikkeller beer again - lovely rounded flavour, not overly hoppy but a good sense of flavour. Loved this!

5% bottle 30DKK from Mikkeller & Friends. Lovely cloudy honey pour with a decent head of foam. Great spicy lemongrass aroma. Full body, lemon & coriander tastes which does go really well with Asian noodles. Great easy drinking stuff! lassem (652) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2009
I have really been looking forward to rate this beer that must be the first danish beer directly ordered to a restaurant awarded with an michelin-star. The thai restaurant Kiin Kiin. This beer itself is a nice comment to the "wine contra beer" discussion that often takes place round dinner tables. Clear golden like fine apple cider with a head that a pretty thick and snow white. The nose is pretty spicy with some pepper, malts and citric notes. The taste is very fresh with a watery palate - and you feel like drinking most of your glass in one. I can really imagine that it would go perfectly to food with some spicy charecter. The lemongrass contributes to the freshness that has other citric notes too. The finish is long and bitter with a bite

Hazy amber beer. Made with lemongrass and coriander. Frothy white head. Slightly soft palate, just a little dry. Creamy malt with a trace of tea. Pleasant fresh lemon and orange not bitter or sweet - just fresh. Finishes with creamy malt. Clever beer - definitely would go with spicy food but is great solo as well.

Bottle, bought @ Ricemarket, Cph.
Pours hazy yellow-ish golden with a fine, small, creamy, off-white head. Lovely malty aroma, some citrus, ginger and coriander to back it up with a fine note of piney hops. Medium, yet prickly carbonation. Fine and rather fat mouthfeel. Flavour is malty sweet, some good dryness. The lemongrass sticks out well, but it isn’t a bad thing. Very nice dry finish. Lovely, fresh and instantly drinkable.
