Bottled. Dark reddish brown coloured. Fluffy light brown head. Berries, alcohol, grass, spice and light liqourice in the aroma. Flavour is grassy, raisiny, berries, alcohol, plum and a sort of creamy caramel. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a fruity light roasty note. Quite nice, but maybe a bit young. Would love to try this in a year or 2. kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - SEP 10, 2009
LCRBM 2009. Thanks to yespr for bringing this! The bottle looks really, really good! Brown in the glass, small creamy head. Malty-dusty aroma. Starts mild-malty, becomes more and more intense with fruity notes of plum and raisins, also some caramell. Finish modest oily-malty. Great beer! Plovmand (8311) - Helsinge, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2009
Bottle. Hazy brown with a thick tan head. Caramel, spices, malt and light yeast in aroma. Heavy malty flavour with dry fruit and spicy notes. The alcohol shows its face and leaves a bitter, spicy and malty punch in the finsih. Creamy texture and actually quite dry. Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - SEP 9, 2009
@ LCRBM 2009. A clear light brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of caramel with spices. Alcohol with fruits with some yeast. The taste of caramel with dark fruits, like raisins. There is bitterness and sweet. It’s burny in the back. The aftertaste is bitter and fiery. reserva (31) - Oud-Turnhout, BELGIUM - SEP 7, 2009

Bottle at Kiin Kiin (Slaget om Nørrebro) and at Papsø’s. Cloudy dark red/brown - offwhite head. Raisins, ryebread, sweetness, roasted, dried fruits, brown sugar, caramel, spicy, berries, alcoholic, licorice. OK - but us seemes a bit young and alcoholic. Bloekie (210) - BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2009
Aroma of cherries and blossoms. Dark brown. Flavour is smokey and brownish. BartC (727) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2009
Amber colored beer. Marzipan like aroma. Lot’s of caramel and alcohol warming. Bitterish ending. JorisPPattyn (10001) - Ursel, BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2009
Small yellow head over red-brown beer. Bock-like nose with sweet bread, but with a more spicy touch. Sweet, very much liquorice - roasted liquorice? Toffee, too, bit perfumey. Medium bodied, but very slick and lots of alcoholwarming. Doubtful. Maybe my least favourite Mikkeller. Despite the alcoholwarming, I’d never guessed 12% ABV. joergen (28142) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2009
