(375ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clearish rich orange-brown, light tan bubbles. Nose is a bit funky, mildly tart fruits, oranges and vanilla. Taste is toasty caramel, vanilla, very hidden alcohol, excellent. Easy to drink. Thick mouthfeel and really creamy.

bottle shared at 5000 tasting - yeasty nose, bready, spicey grain notes, alcohol warmth. Smooth yeastiness, sweet bubblegum candy. Pretty tasty, actually.

Bottle. Aroma of caramel, plums and cherries. Dark barown colour with beige head. Sweet and spicy flavour with malt, nuts and fruit and slightly bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel.

375ml bottle, thanks lusikka

Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, with hints of raisin, exotic fruits and alcohol. Taste is caramely sweet with notes of toffee, exotic fruits and malts. Finish is sweet, smooth and carbonated. Full bodied. Quite good, but I’m not a fan of these kind of overly sweet dessert beers.

375 ml bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.
Pours a dark brown colour with a white frothy head. Aroma of strong licorice and dark chocolate. Flavour of caramel malts, licorice, dark chocolate, hops and lovely sweet toffee. Medium/full bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and a sweet raisiny toffee finish. Very tasty without too much sweetness.

Koelschtrinker (20398) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 11, 2011

Bottle 375ml @ home
Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of prunes, raisin, brown sugar, alcohol and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm sweet finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 23, 2011
hazy dark red-brown, thin lasting white ring. Large oxidized sugars, burnt caramel, sweet and unsatisfying.

GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 18, 2011
375mL thanks to CaptainCougar. A long time want list item if only for the crazy presentation of the bottle. The pour is a hazy deep maroon/mahogany with a larger yellow head. Webby lace remains. Aroma is rum raisin, cinnamon, cookie, sweet maple, alcohol. Taste is ashy, bitter, lemon, sweet syrup. Watery palate. Not sure the point of this one.

ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - APR 17, 2011
Big sweet and boozy nose with lots of toffee and dark fruit. The taste is very sweet, moderately bitter, lots of toffee, lots of raisins, lots of astringent crystal malt. Bleh.
