grapengrain (124) - Havelock North, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 24, 2010
American wheat ale - more aptly described as a wheaten APA this mid strength beer demonstrates the high-flavour low ABV concept very well. Crisp, floral, grassy hops with thin malt body and a wheaten element.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.
Clear light medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to lgiht heavy hoppy, pine, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100226]

Bottle. Amber colour with fine head. Nice hoppy amarillo aroma. Typically mikkeller IPA, even if its a wheat Ale... Bitter finish no malt flavour.

rmasa (324) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAR 19, 2010
Orange color, small white head; flowery and fruity hoppy aroma - tangerine, citrus; light body, moderate carbonation; flavor is a bit watery and mostly of bitter hops, a bit too economical in the fruity side and absolutely poor in terms of maltiness; also, taken into account that this is a wheat beer, the main ingredient was quite well hidden. I wasn’t very impressed but, I have to admit, hops do save much.

bluevegie (3938) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2010
Almost clear golden orange body with short head. Peach in the aroma and somewhat in the taste as well as orange although not as sweet as last nights Wheat Ale, a touch of grapefruit for the bitterness. Easily drinkable.

(on bottle) This is my favorite beer of ´09. Light yellow, hoppy, very fresh hops, almost elderflowerish. Dry, fresh, perky. like liking hopcones and lemonsorbet, whilest drinking summer sun on the beach; it´s a grand summer beer for sure.

planky84 (3431) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2010
Bottle from beermerchants.com. Amber gold pour with a white head. Aromas of citrus, barley,.malts, warm bread. Flavours of lemon peel, grapefruit, lime, quite sharp. Very hoppy finish. Not bad.

First beer ever I tried from Mikkeller. if the 3,6 white beer is already this good I can’t wait what the future has in store.

thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2010
Bottle from Kris Wines. Hazy golden, big white head. Solid Amarillo nose, followed by bitter, grapefruity hop flavours. Not very complex, but very uncompromising. Hints of oranges. Quite light body. Nice and thirst-quenching.
