thick roasty bomb, boozy and sweet from the maple. Very cool offering, Tons of roast, tastes like a danish one for sure.

"Better than golden sap, but more due to the fact that Mikkeller makes kick ass porters. And the coffee is great. Barrel influence still light, though it’s a little more noticeable in the flavor, and is noticeable in the aroma (while light, you couldn’t smell a hint of maple in the golden at all). Smooth for 10%, tasty. Lil steep still..."

Boozy, sour fruit smell, beautiful mocca brown head, taste is coffee bean, kind of a tart taste mixed with a bitter chocolate, hint of molasses, this is a very complex beer!Very good beer! I would like to have it aged a little longer and a little more coffee taste, but this is a winner. Nice burn with the 10%.

Bottle 375ml.

Clear dark brown color with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, wood, alcohol, light burnt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, wood, molasses, sweet sugary coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. duft: karamelmalt. en meget underlig tung duft som jeg ikke kan beskrive, ellers sød, svag kaffe toner, smag: brød, brændt malt, sødme, en smule kikse smag, meget sødme i øllet. stor og tung øl

Mikkeller & Friends. Bottle share with Fonefan, Rlgk and ChrisO. Opaque black brown beer, big pale tan head. Palate is airy and minerally crisp. Smooth dry dark malts, touch of licorice and coffee. Mild spice and vague dark fruits. Not getting a big maple vibe, more is the pity, this could do with.sweetening up. Light dry finish.
