25-OCT-2013, bottle @Ulkløbben meeting, @Morten.
Black with lasting tan head.
Aroma is coffee roast and sweet brown sugar.
Taste the same with more malts. Not really as hoppy as most Mikkeller?
Medium body, well hidden alcohol.
OK.

Bottled. Poursblack with an average, fair lacing, tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and slightly roasted malt. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry with some alcohol. Medium to full bodied, oily to syrupy texture and soft carb. An excellent strong porter.

thick roasty bomb, boozy and sweet from the maple. Very cool offering, Tons of roast, tastes like a danish one for sure.

Bottle shared by dudeabide. Poured black color with a large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate roasted chocolate malt, coffee and maple aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark roasted sweet flavor with medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer.

DoublEE (781) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Bourbon leads again with some alcohol notes and somewhat boozy. Dark burnt, toasted brown, chocolate and caramel malts. Some vanilla oak feel is nice from the barrels. Brown sugar and maple influence. Overall quite sweet.

Prufrockstar (2259) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - NOV 7, 2013
Bottle. Thanks, T! Aroma of roast, smoke, weed; thick, roasty, slick, oily, roasty finish, choc, syrup; appearance is appropriately that of a Danish imperial porter. Nice!

bytemesis (9349) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours opaque black with a large dark brown head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is quite light, unfortunately and roasty. Flavor is roasty, maple, a bit of wood, coffee. Lightly sweet, light bitter, some astringence. Flavors also appear muted in this one. Finish is a bit hot, bitterness lingers to the far finish. Medium body, high carbonation.

Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 22, 2013
375mL bottle. Poured near black with a creamy, well-retained khaki head. The aroma picked up a nice blend of sweet maple, coffee, and vanilla with lightly-toasted roast and oak on the edges.. warm and welcoming. The flavor found lots of roasty, semi-sweet coffee throughout.. slightly sour bourbon and oak around.. more maple and charred ashy notes on the long, warm finish. Heavier-bodied with creamy, rolling carbonation through the palate.. felt good the whole way.. really good stuff!
