Draft at The Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Poured black with a thin round tan head. A dry malty and weak aroma. The flavour is bitter with liqourice notes. The palate is a little weak. A drinkable ale for chewy malt lovers, but its not one destined for stardom!

The aroma is full of barley, barley malt, oats, metallic notes, dry nuts and smoke. The color is pitch black. The taste is full of barley, barley malt, oats and metallic notes. What a terrible beer, not by Mikkeller standard whatsoever. I can see that this beer was retired but they decided to brew it again. I understand why it was retired but I dont understand why they decided to brew it again. Absolutely terrible. Reminds me of a lot of "craft beers" you can buy in a lot of Danish supermarkets. I absolutely despise that kind of beers. It has nothing to do with the fine art of craft beer brewing. Its an insult to a lot of talented brewers who are working hard to brew world class beers.
