Bottle @ Stella tasting. Pours clear auburn/chestnut with a huge frothy beige head. Aroma is quite hoppy considering the age, grapefruit, pine, caramel, red berries, chocolate, white cheese, resin and flowery. Taste is moderate sweet, heavy bitter, light acidic. Body is medium+, texture is oily, carbonation is moderate. Finishes dry and very bitter with booze and spice.

Vertikalprovning på Milkeller HQ, dagen före CBC -14. Kraftigt livligt skum. Klar kopparfärg. Spritig med maltig maltsötma. Otippat lättdrucken. Tyst och seriös provning inledningsvis. Tar emot efter några klunkar i sommarvärmen. KingCecil (2084) - DENMARK - JAN 7, 2014

Dark ruby color. Huge 2-3 finger head, off white in color. Great retention and body to head. Good lacing.
Nose is dark fruits, strawberry, stone fruit and some pine and grapefruit. Hops have held up quite well in the nose.
Taste is stone fruits, strawberry, dry pine and grapefruit. Fades in and out between sweet and dry. Quite bitter still.
Light carbonation and dry finish. Medium bodied. Really impressed how well it has held up for the age of the beer.

Magnum. Rich aroma, soy, plums, caramel, grass. Nicely aged. Dark reddish brown with still a nice head. Nicely carbonated, full, thick body. Very tasty, with lots of umami and still good hops and bitterness. Great. Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2013

Medium to big sweet flavor, quite bitter with lots of earth and spicy, dry pine, some dry toffee. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with toasty bread, dry pine and dry caramel. Good one. TourDeBeer (123) - your mummas pants, AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2013

Burnt amber appearance, Caramel spice’s and blackberry aroma’s. Soft carbonation with a dry finish. A perfect way to end the afternoon. Theydon_Bois (19513) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2013
Bottle - big thanks to Leighton at Jack and his very own birthday pleasantries, 13/04/13. #730/1300.
Hazed dark mahogony brown with a decent sized beige head that retains well.
Nose carries dark malt tones, dates, brown sugars, dark fruits, woody notes, boozey - a little on the harsh side.
Taste comprises dark toffee, brown sugars, earthy woodyness, more booze - again a little harsh, nutty tones, booze drenched sponge and biscuit base.
Full bodied, dry in the finish.
Ok but a little overy boozey.
