Inbreak (6326) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2017
01.05.2014, 1,5l bottle (#117/170) sampled @ Mikkeller HQ:
Nice brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet boozy, dark malts, oak, dark sugar, alcohol, hay, coffee, licorice, vanilla, grass, bourbon. Taste is dry boozy, dark malts, oak, dark sugar, chocolate, licorice, bourbon, coffee, hay. Longlasting bitterness, very dry boozy mouthfeel. Nice, but it was so much nicer and smoother when it was almost fresh.

skortila (5967) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2017
Bottled @ Mikkeller & Friends. Old note. The aroma has chocolate, coffee, vanilla, raisin. Black coloured beer with a thin, brown head. The taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, has chocolate, dried fruits and booze. Booze is still pretty much under the radar considering the high ABV.

Backlog rating. Large bottle split at CBC Clerkenwell during Siren Maiden launch, London. It pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of dark chocolate, toffee, vanilla and light booze. Taste is big, bold and sweet with more dark chocolate, raisins, bread, vanilla and honey. Light roastiness to keep the finish a bit drier. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, really good impy
