Bottle shared in Bermondsey / many thanks to Mitch. Pours deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. The nose has a lot dark malts, chocolate, mellow roast. Big sweet flavour, lots of sugary chocolate, touches of smoke, ash, raisins. Full bodied, lily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sticky with sugars, some burnt caramel, more chocolate, ripe berries, more raisins. Great fun. Fairly intense in its sweetness. Bit fun.
