Hazy amber, almost no foam. Powerful and sweet aroma: sherry, dessert wine, plum wine, barrel, dried fruit, raisins, alcohols and esters. Taste: sweet, plum wine, dessert wine and sherry, vanilla, sweet, bitter, awesome.

Taste: lots of alcohol, lots of caramel, vanilla, some ripe banana, tannins noticeable, more banana. Aftertaste: more alcohol, bit sourish, caramel, pretty oxidized, lots of vanilla, sugary, ripe banana and dried fruits.

Bouteille 37.5cl @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting. Orange, col blanc.

Thank you Sebletitje (?) / tderoeck (?)! 375 ml. bottle sampled @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting. Blond, brief white patchy bubbles. Nose is extremely malty, sweet boozy orange peel, sugar, malt, faint esters, touch honey. Taste is very boozy, touch harsher than you would expect even for the ABV, orange peel, sugar, warmin, low honey, thick malt, fresh wood, some BE esters, thick sugar warming. Thick chewy malty sugary body. Bit too simpel but pretty nice beer, not the easiest one to drink.

375ml bottle from last night’s share. Hazy amber pour with small beige head. Sweet nose, fruity, a bit of booziness. Sweet malts dominate the taste, and then there’s the alcohol heat. Wow!. A big, big beer, and tasty too.

375ml bottle pours out a cloudy copper topped with a sand head. Nose is super sweet pit fruit rich malts barrel notes. Taste is more of the heavy sweetness pit fruit rich malts nice barrel. Wow almost 20% this is money.

Bottle. Aroma is super boozy, paint and meths. Almond and coconut. Too much. Full on alcohol. Taste is better, boozy still, but also fruity, apricot, sweet. Alright but not sure.

Bottle shared at Gremlin! Thanks Hamilton & Tohara-san! Happy birthday 4 months late! Big intense alcohol nose with brown sugar, caramel fall fruit and bit of paint thinner....full on for sure. Body is quite light with oak and more fruit: apricot, persimmon and more brown sugar notes. Finish is alcoholic with a lingering burn. Not very beer-like at all. Fun, but a lot to ask without friends.
