Comparing to the baseline versions more fruity and vinous, which quite well hide the strong malty and caramel backbone. Again highly drinkable with nice chardonnay profile. Ktwse (5458) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2016
Pours murky brown with low off-white head. Aroma of red grapes, bretta, red currant, liquored cherry. Taste is mild tart, almost sweet, with a nutty sweet finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation. j12601 (13099) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JAN 15, 2016
Bottle I took to Campground Brewdown 2015. Pours a hazed brown amber with a thin white head. Acid, funk, barrel, wood, soft white wine. Medium-bodied, big acetic notes. Oxidized fruit, plum, acid. Slow vinous barrel lingering alcohol and acid. tdtm82 (1701) - Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2015
Thanks to madmitch76! Huge farmhouse aroma. Brett. Funk. Fruity yeast esters. Chardonnay. Oak. Taste is band aid, Chardonnay, oak, funk, wet cardboard, sugar and summer fruits. A tad harsh but interesting. markextrae (4485) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2015

Bottle at home (best before 16/10/14, shared). Pours a slightly hazy amber with fast disappearing head. Aroma is almost bourbon like, malts, wood, dried fruit, Brett, alcohol. Taste is vineous, Brett, sweet warming alcohol, dry ending with a slightly sour, bitter, aftertaste. Strange (maybe stored too long), but still nice. 12.7oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Code on cap reads 8071210. Hazy red orange color. Thin off-white head, leaving short ropes of lace.. Drinking this immediately after trying the It’s Alive! Grand Marnier barrel... This is much less brighty carbonated, lighter carbonation, more crisp texture, bit more slick. Definitely a vanilla kind of flavor, which is sort of surprising. Very nice white wine oak influence, and lemon citrus, some caramel malt, mikkeller sour fun character. Toasty oak. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of warmth on the end. Moderate bright, funky sour taste over top the slighty bigger sweetness, it’s a nice mix. Tasty full-bodied slightly rich sour ale to sip on, very complex pleasant taste. Mer maltig än jag trodde. Men ganska trevlig maltighet. Svag bretta. Men känner tonen av Chardonnay. Helt okej.

Bottle from de Molen beershop, BB 2 days ago, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Almost clear amber to copper color, short frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity, white wine, strawberry, bit oak wood, slight sour, bit citric acid. Bit sweet, bit sour. Bit dry woody note. Fruity as well. Soft carbonation. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 30, 2014
slightly funkier than the base, for better or worse, and also slightly sweeter from the grapes and oak. I liked em both, though a little steep in price.
