bjakk (828) - Skagafjordur, ICELAND - FEB 7, 2014
Red brown cloudy with course yellow head. Sour, metal, mild tablecloth, oak. Malt, mild sourness, nice grapefruit bitterness in the aftertaste, that grows. High in carbon.

Scopey (15877) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2014
Bottle consumed in Croydonia. It pours clear amber with a pretty large off-white head. The nose is woody, funk, brett, doughy aspect, leather, vinous and some soft fruits. The taste is funky, barnyard, doughy, white wine, wood, earthy brett, touch of acidity, some bitterness and dried berries. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Rather well balanced and drinkable. Very nice indeed.

thewolf (12842) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2014
Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours light hazy red orange with a small, white film head. Aroma has a mild boozy edge, grapes, caramel, soft funkiness, apples. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious, oaky, sweet grapes, toasted caramel. Mild funky. Just not particularly good.

JBPortland (1564) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - JAN 7, 2014
375ml bottle pours hazy pinkish color with little carbonation. Nose is funky wood and berry, tart fruit and grape. Taste is tart funky grape and barrel, earthy wood. Finish is tart fruity oak. Decent sour.

Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/10/2013.This wild ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, oak and chardonnay grapes. A medium bodied sour ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy, A lot more woody and funky than the sauterne edition. Some grape tannins and oak. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly funky.

SuperTiti33 (894) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 29, 2013
Dégusté les deux en même temps (funky E sauternes et chardonnay) Vue: ambrée. Aucun collet. Nez: sucré/acide. Fruité. Bouche: fine amertume. Chocolat. Caramel. Végétale. Fruité. Madère. Un peu plus amère que la sauternes. Excellents produits avec une très fine différence.

Bottle pour dark hazy amber with a thick foamy cream head. The aroma is very strong from un capping the bottle, wild yeast pretty dominant. The chardonnay comes through in the finish; a light fruity beer. Overall not too sour in the taste, a very good wild ale. Leaves a nice lingering of alcohol in the throat.

Enjoyable beer. Had at beer shoppe in Davis, ca out of a bottle. Not as tart as I anticipated it would be.

saxo (19530) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2013
Tap @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are brett, wood, wine, malt, fruits, lactose acid and hops. Nice and fruity.
