daje (4341) - NORWAY - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle shared june 7th head to head against Sauternes Edition. Nice looking beer, hazy red-tinted amber body, small beige head. Fruity and vineous aroma, yeasty and spicy. Taste of malt, alcohol, raspberries, sour yeast and sherry. lasting wood and wine aftertaste. We find the Sauternes Edition the best of the two.

jesperhammer (4727) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2013
21-jUN-2013, bottle @home, from Ølbutikken. Tasted straight after the Sauternes edition. Clear amber with lasting, lacing off-white head. Aroma is a bit rough with brett, wine, gun powder, tartness, spice and yeast. Taste the same but not as rough. Very wine-like with loads of oak an leather. A tad more tart than the Sauternes edition. I prefer the Sauternes but this is still very nice.

gunnfryd (14828) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle. Deep golden colour with a beige head. Aroma is brett, sourness, alcohol, vinous. Flavour is dry, brett, sourness, malt, hop, alcohol, vinous. Nice beer.

Rune (12609) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2013
375ml bottle, bought at Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Near-clear amber with a glint of red. Dissipating white head. Patchy surface. Dry and semi-tart berries on the nose. And again, a sweet and tart taste profile of raspberries and ripe fruits. Herbal dry ending. Quite well bodied. Cleansing down the swallow. Okay, but really not my kind of good beer drinking (hotel room, Copenhagen 26.05.2013).

Yorker (1979) - Herning, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2013
37.5 cl bottle @ home. Pours amber with an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is caramel, brett, white wine, and fruit. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a smooth and dry finish. ABV is impressively well hidden.

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2013
Draught. Low fluffy white quickly disappearing head. Hazy amber body. Fruity sour wood earth aroma. Sour bitter fruity flavor with low carbonation and a short finish. Alcohol well hidden.

AdamChandler (4977) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Plum red pour. Nose is vinegar and fruit loops. hint of grape skin. very bitter throughout, hint of juicy juice / capri sun. some brett, some vinegar. Mostly pretty stale tasting.

BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 26, 2013
Bottle generously shared by Sparky. Burnt tangerine pour with an eggshell cap. Orange peel and grapefruit pith along with tart lemon, vinegar notes, sweaty laundry, dust, and wood. The Chardonnay accentuates the beer better than the other barrel. Still, not a favorite.

mcberko (17298) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark copper orange with a medium beige head. Aroma is fairly subtle, with light notes of white wine, some wild yeast notes, and a bit of farmhouse. Flavour is much more vinous than the nose suggests, with prominent white wine upfront, followed by medium brett and farmhouse notes. While dominant on the white wine, it never becomes overbearing on the palate and remains highly drinkable with absolutely no notice of the 9+% ABV. Excellent stuff.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 15, 2013
(375ml bottle) Pours a hazy orange body with small off-white head. Aroma of florals, leather, horse blanket, pineapple, and stone fruit. Flavor of brett, yeast, florals, subtle chardonnay butteriness, caramel, orange, mango, and light pepper.
