750 ml bottle shared by Enniskillen. Nose is light maple, malty, with some floral accents and a bit of yeast. Lightly hazy amber with a medium beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet, caramel, and a bit of bitter at the end.

SpringsLicker (3501) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 10, 2010
The body is a hazy dark amber/orange color with an off-white head. Decent lacing. Light, sweet malt aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet and the delivery is sweet at the start, followed by a dryness that ends bitter. Very Interesting.

drpimento (3279) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 8, 2010
Poured with a nice fine cream colored head and some lace. Color is a cloudy amber. Aroma is yeasty spice malt and brettanomyces. Flav is like aroma. Was expecting more but seems kind of shallow. Body is good and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor. Session for those who like this, but not me. Maybe an apertif.

Bottle, 75cl. This one pours an almost clear body, golden in color, and topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Quite piney nose, vinous and slightly citrusy, citruspeel and some grapefruit entering after a while. Its sweetish, yet dry in the mouth, full-bodied and warming, with a lot of piney hops. Some alcohol and pinecones in the finish, and a really good bitterness level. A nice beer for sure, quenching and warming, but maybe a bit low on the brett flavors when I had it. 091230

Pours a nice semi-clear dark brown with white head. Nose smacks you in the face with citrus and fresh floral hops with some spices. Taste is not what I expected. Taste is lots of rye malts, apple, celery seeds, citrus and other spices. A little too spiced.

[fungke estr] Brewed by Mikkeller at De Proef Brewery in Belgium. Bottle purchased at the Cracked Kettle in Amsterdam. Bottle consumed today with Beerloco and Mrs. Beerloco. 750ml bottle with easter eggs and bunny rabbits all over the label. Appearance: golden orange body with 2 finger foam crown. Medium retention and decent amount of lacing. Smell: Apricot, belgian yeast (brett), ginger, and an unsweetened lemon note. Taste: Sweet hoppy fruits with and sweet malt. Lightly sweet finish with apricot and resiny hops throughout. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and slightly chewy. Drinkability: Good considering its 9.39% abc and slightly chewy. This was a nice beer that I was happy to have had the pleasure to both share it with a fellow BA and to add it to the board! Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-15-2009
