Lots of dark chocolate and coffee. Tasted the one brewed at Mikkeller San Diego. Very smooth and rich in taste. olsvammel (7256) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2017
Bottle from Systembolaget... I think. Dark malty smell with coffee, also a bit boozy. Similar taste, very roasted. A bit rough mouthfeel and flavour profile. Raw. MikeBibere (58) - GREECE - DEC 19, 2016
Bottle. Pitch black color with beige head that lasts for long, pours like petrol.Aromas of roast, dark chocolate and coffee.Sweet and heavy taste, some alcohol notes but not the whole abv is visible for sure. Dark chocolate all the way, with some hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Very complex and highly enjoyable indeed. StevieT (2015) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 4, 2016
On tap at Mikkeller San Fransisco. So damn tasty, lots of coffee and dark chocolate going on, super smooth, dangerously drinkable for 12%.

Winter has finally arrived, so I decided to crack open this bottle! Thanks to Holmen1 for the gift! Pours like engine oil, really thick and viscous. Very dark and virtually no carbonation. Taste is rich and gloriously complex. Coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, spices. leather and dried vine fruits are all in the mix. Great flavours. This is a really wonderful winter beer. The high alcohol content is well concealed by an appealing sweetness and excellent balance. A really good ale which is very easy to drink. dmctaster (93) - Florida, USA - NOV 14, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2016 Black with a dark brown head. Aroma of dark fruits and sweet. Taste is bittersweet dark fruits and slight chocolate. More of a Russian imperial with the flavors. AnG_BrgNor (774) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle. Roasted, coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, licorice and smoked. This Imp stout get it all. A rich, full bodied and very coplex beer. ABV extremly well hidden. A great, great beer! Impressive!! mariuspoenari (2850) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 2, 2016
33cl bottle at home . Pitch black pour, thick and oily, with a medium height espresso head. Notes of roasted malts, smoke, cherries, light peat, toffee, molasses, dark chocolate, cocoa and a hint of sour dark fruit. Very smooth texture, light carbonation, full body and a roasty bitter-sweet finish. Up there with the best plain imperial stouts, for me. Bacterial (3027) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2016
Thick dark black pour with a slight tan head at Mikkeller Bar in SF. Big malty boozy bomb, but with some nice hop character and some bitterness trying to ooze through the oil. Decadent.
