Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.Pinball (12188) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2010
Pours completely black with a lovely, creamy, beige head that leaves light laces on my glass. Aroma is smokey, sweet, roasted, dark chcolate and only a hint of viniousness. Medium carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour begins with some roasted and blackberry tartness, then turn dry and roasted with lots of dark chocolate. The relatively high tartness surprises, but doesn’t detracts as it makes it far more drinkable. Lingering, bitter dry roasted finish. Nice.
pitch dark, brown head.
roasted, brown sugarish aroma. nice.
flavor is sweet rye, roasted stuff, brown sugar.
