Bottle, 33cl. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a crispy offwhite head that recedes quickly. Aroma features apples, clove, citrus, wheat and some distinctive brett. Quite funky, with abundant hoppy dryness mixed with citric and wheat aftertaste and a heavy bitter finish strong in basement earthiness and alcohol. Like nothing I’ve tried before. yiannnos (1254) - , CYPRUS - MAY 30, 2014
Yellow colour. Funky citrus hop aroma. Taste is slightly sour, citrus, refreshing. Case (304) - GERMANY - MAY 28, 2014
Funkytime with Mikkeler! Pours clear yellow with large white head. Aroma is funky, barnyard, apples, oranges. Taste is sour and dry, lemon, light fruity sweetness, dust and funk. It’s quite a bit closer to the Sour category than to an IPA, but it’s a mild and easily drinkable sour. The funk is fantastic, Cantillion-level. Really delicious, I could drink this all day. Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Lightly hazy, pale straw colour. Thin, white head. Lemon rind. Straw. Yeast. Light spice. Taste is yeasty dry. Fairly bitter. Hint of sweet. Palate is a little bready and chewy. Dry, yeasty, bitter finish. A bit weird. Tasty, though.

330 ml bottle. Hazy yellow pour, little bit of white head, minimal lacing. Aroma, very nice, some distinctive brett, lemon, very citrus foward, reminds me of artic saison a bit. Taste, mild funk, white grapes, some slight bitterness, prickly carbonation, dry finish with a mild bitter aftertaste that lingers. Overall, it’s very refreshing, nice funk from the brett, that being said i don’t really get much of hoppy flavour that is typical for an IPA, feels more like a saison to me given how dry it is. Aroma is of a light wheat beer with some nice floral/citrus hops, and lemon zest. Tastes like molson canadian (ick) mixed half and half with a good IPA. A very interesting combination, but not a very well executed one unfortunately.
Update: I let this one sit on my counter for an hour or so because I couldn’t bring myself to pour it out without giving the second half of the bottle another chance. I’m bumping the rating up a bit because it actually tastes a lot better when it isn’t ice cold. I would enjoy this one a bit warmer.
Not a bad one, after all! Buongiorgio00 (951) - - MAY 22, 2014
Ipa molto piacevole da bere, amara al punto giusto e con un carattere complesso e molto rustico, con note maltate e leggeremente speziate, buon gusto fruttato dei luppoli. jmohno (1661) - Iowa, USA - MAY 14, 2014
Light gold yellow. Rich short head, some lace. Citrus tart aroma, orange and peppery.Corriander? Light clove and fruit. Some leather/earthy.Soapy floral. Taste is sharp with citrus, tart almost sour wheat, lemon, coriander , spice. pepper, unripe bitter fruit finish. Good. White Belgian IPA I guess? Not my style. Ive had better of this style I don’t like much but usually don’t say that about Mikkeller stuff. Still pretty good though. msbernac (2861) - Krakow, POLAND - MAY 3, 2014
