COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

LazyPyro (1214) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2017
500ml can. Very hazy orange amber colour with a thick two-finger head. Aroma: hoppy, juicy tropical fruit, mango. Taste: tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, pine, caramel, quite bitter, more than I was expecting given the fairly sweet aroma. Medium body, average carbonation. Solid IPA.

biir (1366) - Berlin, - MAY 2, 2017
Tap at last day of Vitamin B, Sofia- golden color, white head. very dominant on hops in an unpleasant way, rotten sweet tropical fruits, very grainy, edgy, high carbonation. very bitter finish. leaves a bad mouthfeel. I can only suspect this keg was too old. not good. will try again, because I cant really believe this is how it should taste.

oobawa (1416) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 29, 2017
Not quite the hop tribute you’d want from Mikkeller, packing in a decent amount of citric pungency yet lacking the solid green slap to the taste buds you want from a big sticky IPA. The texture’s the real issue: very watery and thin, a feel that only adds to the lackadaisical nature of the hops. Malts are weak too, mildly sweet yet mostly nondescript. Best attribute is the appearance; holy hell does Mikkeller make some fine-lookin’ brews. Otherwise, not a bad IPA, just meek.

Niller (1706) - Hammel, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2017

Nevalainen (772) - FINLAND - MAR 25, 2017
Hazy amber color with creamy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Taste is a bit sweet turning into a soft bitter finish. Well balanced ipa. It’s an IPA like an IPA has to be.

3.7
AtronSeige (1538) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - FEB 23, 2017
Aroma: Medium diesel, paw paw, soft tropical fruit Appearance: Hazy, amber body. Small, off-white head. fine bubbles, lacing. Fair retention. Flavour: Very, very high bitterness on first sip. Medium-high resin, soft fruit. Medium black tea. Malt backbone is present, but bitterness is main character. Dry finish with lingering strong bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium-light astringency. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Astringency is detracting. Hops is front and show cased, but the beer could do with a bit more malt complexity. Haziness is bit too high. 330 ml bottle, poured. 21A. American IPA
