Pours dark red color with a large head that leaves lacing. Aroma has lots of fruits, hops and lemony grass. Flavor of fruits, mild metal notes and some malts. A bit stuffy, could be more refreshing, otherwise ok.
Really surprised to see all of the high score on this beer. Just had it on draft. Almost seems like they may have had a some fermentation issues. Perhaps mashed in too high. Very cloudy and almost grey appearance. Flavor was typically of the big box west coast IPAs, much like Torpedo, but it had a somewhat off, hard candy unfermentable sugar after taste. Very little aroma. DruncanVeasey (8401) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2012
330ml bottle. Torrential, slightly fogged copper with a dense white collar you could float a Euro on. Aroma of peach air freshener, strawberry, urinal cake, liquorice, flowers. Dense, malt-thick body with chocolate-coated walnut tones; a soapy, florid, grapefruit-streaked hop character; some softening strawberry and caramel. Hot alcohol initially, but I’ve been on the pisswatter. Beautiful, cask-like lacework. The kind of IPA I don’t like. But I do like when Mikkeller brew it. WASW (53) - - APR 15, 2012
Tap at Brewdog Newcastle. Deep amber-brown colour with a pleasantly solid head. Rich pungent nose which leads well into the mixture of bitter, fruity and almost caramel-like flavours that hit you once you begin your supping. zacgillbanks (5651) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2013 Bottle from Rehills in Newcastle. This is a cloudy amber-brown beer with red fruit and orange marmalade flavours, toffee notes and a bitter pine finish.

This is a sugary sweet IPA. Nice amber color and frothy tan head with minimal lacing. Starts out as an IPA but finishes like a dry hoppy lager. Once again, an awesome beer from Mikkeller.

On tap 5 oz. sample at Encinitas Ale House in Encinitas, CA.
Very hazy, translucent ruddy brown with beautiful head and lacing.
Complex aroma of earthy, spicy, citrus and pine hops with a bit of caramel and bready malt.
Taste is sweet & hoppy with citrus, earthy, and orange rind flavors up front, caramel malts in the finish, and a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium/thick body, light, fine carbonation and a foamy mouthfeel.

330ml bottle at home on 9th April 2012 from Craft Beer Co, London. Pours cloudy copper-orange with bubbly pale yellow head and clingy lacing. Hoppy aroma, spices and lemon-rind. Liquid is grassy, grapefruity and spicy with touches of Christmas pudding. Aftertaste is grassy, citric, very bitter and the mouthfeel is zingy. Nice bottle - would have again. Bottle. Dark orange, with lacing. Lovely hoppy aroma, oranges and caramel. Powerful orange flavours as well, with somehow pleasant soapiness and a biiiiig hoppy finish. Very subtle fizz. Really really good. magdalar (535) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - APR 6, 2012
Pours a cloudy amber with a big offwhite head.
Smells of wonderful citrus hops, pineapple, some grapefruit, caramel.
Tastes of a medium-heavy sweetness, with a large bitterness, with malt character, and grass. Finishes bitter with a long duration, with some grass that I’m not too fond of.
Medium bodied, medium carbonation, oily texture.
A good malty IPA, but not really for me.
