On tap at Byens Kor in Copenhagen, Denmark. Walked in asking he bartender, Thomas, to give his best beer and he poured this brew. Pours a cloudy ruby brown. Really fantastic hoppy/green aroma. A lot of Malts. This deserves praise for its balance. Perfect body. Full and paired with its malty goodness. Appeared cloudy. Finished bright and alive.

11.2 Fl Oz Bottle from the Fridge, Lancaster. Pour cloudy dark Brown with orange tinge. Nice Hop Aroma. Hops are definitely up front, but more of a Malt backbone then previous Mikkellers I remember. Nice creamy palate. A bit heavier than I expected, especially with a name like Green Gold. Still, a solid offering from Mikkeller. I applaud their beers and wish they were less expensive! Hope to see more brewers like them from Europe. Tmoney99 (14486) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bitter flavor with a moderate to heavy bitter finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

Draught @ The Rover. Pours hazy orangeish amber with a creamy off-white head that leaves some good looking lacing on the glass while slowly dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet, fresh and hoppy with pine, orange zest, tropical fruits, gooseberries, grapes, grapefruit juice, grass, bread and hints of resinous wood. Taste is malty, sweet and bitter with grapefruit juice, orange peal, pineapple, unripe mango, grapes, grass, wood, earthy minerals and bread. Mouthfeel is creamy and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with orange zest, grass and wood. teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - MAR 3, 2012
On tap. Pours a caramel color with a medium white head. Aroma is uber-hoppy with pine and resin, with flowers as weel. After a swirl, the fruitiness comes up with lots of pineapple and some grapefruit. Taste is as bitter as it gets. Very piney and fruity, with pineapple and melon. Very moderate sweet malty presence, definitely overcome by hops. Good carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Overall, a masterpiece. A perfect example of a world class IPA.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy which wasn’t expected. Hoppy with a bitter finish and a bitter finish. An example of how beer should be bottled. Excellent, BrotherLogic (252) - California, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Old bottle so not much aroma but huge bitter flavour. Love it very much but wish it was fresh MechanicalMind (22) - Crawley, West Sussex, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours golden with a puffy white head that settles to a covering, good amount of lacing the way down. Aroma is fresh grapefruit, citrus pith, grassy. Taste is an explosion of grapefruit juice, with an extremely long pithy bitter finish that keeps on coming. Super clean on the palate. Excellent IPA, one of the best
