Flaske 0,33l på Bishops Arms i Kiruna 17 Aug 11. Mørk gyldenbrun. Veldig uklar. Kjempehøyt, svakt farget skum som varer lenge. Sterk & god fruktig aroma. Fersken. Rik & variert fruktsmak. Litt tyggegummi. Smaken glir over i en fin fruktig bitterhet. Atter et nydelig øl fra Mikkeller. Brenhophead (695) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 1, 2011
Draught from Manes liquor.. Pours a deep red colour with a wonderful aroma of stone fruit and biscuit malts. The flavour is dominated by deep malt with a generous hop citrus hop inclusion. This beer sort of reminds me of Murrays icon 2 IPA and both a top notch. ALLOVATE (3029) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 26, 2011
Draught @ Mane Liquor, Belmont.Mezcalmannen (395) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 26, 2011
Dull, tawny orange-amber and not quite bright. Big head, well retained, a dense, rocky pad of white that leaves some drabby lace. Big, bold and bountiful hop nose with solid, toasted and biscuity malt undertones. A lot of sweet, ripe tropical fruit, perfume and floral notes, a little pine too. Nice body, meaty, with lots of malt coming through to counter the well utilised hops. Biscuity sweet Anzac cookies, rough toasted grains and a lot of pine as it moves across the tongue to give a good base for the fruit esters and floral notes. Musky, rose petal perfume and vine clippings linger in the mouth, grapefruit and apricot, some cantaloupe and a twist of tangerine play heavily for the length. The carbonation adequate to give it a light spritz. Alcohol masked by the flavour barely shows. This is a very sessionable beer. I didn’t have high hopes but it is incredibly balanced, the hops not too aggressive and the biscuity malt held in check well but very well pronounced and meaty. Good stuff.
Very bitter, and a bitterness that is long lasting well beyond the finish, but it is well balanced out with sweetness. Overall a very citrusy feel, grapefruit particularly. Pines and grass in the aroma as well. Pours an unclear dark amber and supports a frothy off-white head. (Bottle)

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2011 Growler from Mane Liquor. Pours an awesome amber with a large, super fluffy white head. Aroma picks up loads of grass, pine and grapefruit hops. Grapefruit is less prominent in the nose than it is in the taste. Once the beer opens up a little, loads of pine and grapefruit hops mix with a touch of light citrus in the finish. A slight honey sweetness and a touch of dry biscuit run through the beer giving it a balanced backing to the full amount of hops. Lively carbonation. Dangerously sessionable. Amazing beer. A very strong bitter finish Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2011
During Mikkel’s and Thomass’ visit in Athens, Oct 2009. Golden/amber with a small off white head. Lovely aroma of a mixture of hops, flowery, citric fruits and more. Sweet caraml taste on the first sip followed by the hop explosion, both aromatic and bittering. Bitter finish. Very easy to drink I thought it was also much less than 7%. Great IPA ! UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 Bottle as Mikkeller Green Easter IPA. Hazy amber colour with a white head. Rich hop nose. Also a massive hoppy flavour, but well mixed with other flavours. Wombata (625) - Kobe, JAPAN - NOV 20, 2011
On Tap. Aroma: Some vegetal notes followed by a rich, earthy malt, raisin, and grassy hop.
Flavor: Ripe orange, raisin, some citrus and grassy hop. The flavors are well blended together and it has a long finish. gbe75 (134) - ICELAND - NOV 16, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2012 Another fine beer from Mikkeller. Aggressively hoppy, hazy, nice white head. Well-bodied beer. Looking forward to have another one.
