I haven’t had a really hoppy beer in a while, so this should quench my hop withdrawal! Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours a brown-red brew with about an inch of nice head. Extremely fresh aroma with lots of pine, general hops and some caramel. Medium body and low carbonation. Fantastic taste! Perfect bitterness and an amazing, very long-lasting hop flavor with all kinds of citrus! Grapefruit, lemon, orange, mango, pine - they’re all here. Perhaps a hint of caramel in the background, but the hops totally dominate here, and it’s wonderful! A hint of nuts late in the (long lasting) aftertaste. Wow. This is one of the best IPAs I’ve ever tasted! Just beautiful, great balance, great flavor, great taste, great aroma, great mouthfeel, looooong aftertaste... Yum! 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brewed at Fanø Bryghus. ABV is 7.0%. Amber colour, large off-white head. Aroma of American hops, notes of grapefruit, spruce and pine. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, grapefruit, pine and spruce again, very bitter and nearly medicinal aftertaste. str023 (123) - Stokmarknes, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2011
Ivory colored head with a golden orange body. Superbly fruty and hoppy aroma of pineapple and pine needle. A perfect combination! I also detect some raisins, apricot and licorice. Dry and bitter finish wich leaves you with a satisfying moutfeel also in the aftertaste. Great danish IPA.

11.2oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a very hazy dark orange, almost light brown with a small bit of off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and grapefruit. Taste is medium-heavy bitter. Taste is strongly of grapefruit and pine. Full bodied with a thick and somewhat oily texture. Lively carbonation and a very long, very bitter finish. Overall, very very good. Something I would gladly drink again in the future. dtborelli (322) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 30, 2011
Pours light brown with a little orange at the edges. Medium off white head and good retention. Aroma is sweet caramel malts and resiny citrus hops. Nice. Oily on the glass with a smooth hop bitterness, balanced with some nice malty sweetness. Full bodied with nice citrus rein notes. I heart Mikkeller.

Draught at Mikkeller.
Golden with a beige head. Aroma moderate malty (caramel), heavy hoppy (citrus, pine, peachy notes). Flavor moderate sweet, heavy bitter, though smooth and refreshing, long lasting. Medium+ body. Very nice. RichardGretton (4861) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2011
Bottle. Cloudy brownish beer with a strong head. The aroma is very well hopped, and the flavour is also deeply hopped with a long lasting bitter finish. Overall a very nice IPA. 1FastSTi (3358) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Pours to a deep brassy body with lots of super slow carbonation and a gorgeous fluffy light tan head and excellent lacing. The aroma is grassy hops with some herbs and grapefruit. The flavor is grassy and bitter pine with notes of herbs and a decently robust malt. Bitter to just under the point of being chalky, but there is a chalkiness occasionally. The palate is medium bodied with a decent bitterness and smooth carbonation.
