Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, medium amber, with a decent, creamy head. Aroma is of flowery hops, honey and nectar, with some adjunct grain giving a nice creamy body. Flavour is sweetly pine, resin and some malt, with a nice growing bitterness of orange peel throughout the finish. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011
Hazy gold brown with a massive crown floating on top, looks like a yummy beer. Aroma is yummy but not that aggressive. Peach, pine, sweetness and bitter this all smells wonderful. Taste is the same but the bitter is wicked strong and lingers. Yummmmmmmmmm lemon lime hoppy goodness. Nice thick malt with a caramel flavour. Pretty good IPA, nice and simple, flavorful, highly drinkable, but nothing that makes it stand out and with the high price tag I’ll probably never but it again. mikkopen (1193) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2011
330 ml bottle. Hazy orange-brown colour, thin but lasting light beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, oranges, malt and grassy hops. The flavour is citrus-fruity, malty, with a long, bitter hoppy finish. Nicely dry, very tasty. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 20, 2011

Flavor:grapefruit,pine hops,caramel.... suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - SEP 20, 2011
Cloudy orange/brown color in the Mikkeller tulip. Big light tan head. Creamy and slow to fade, with lacing galore left behind. Big bouquet of hops and a malty aroma mixing in the nose. A little citrusy, piney and flowery. Huge alcohol presence in the taste. Mixed in with a barleywine type of maltiness. Presence of hops, but not overly so. More malty and dry, but a sweet - almost cloying sweet - dryness. Very light mouthfeel for as much malt is present in the taste. It’s like a dry, light, barleywine. Not too shabby.

(11.2oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clearish orange with a lasting tan head. Nose of big citrus, mildly dank, and orange. Taste of candied oranges, very bitter with an excellent matching sweet backbone, and herbal. Medium thick body with nice creaminess and linger. A bit astringent, but one of the better IPAs I can recall out of Denmark. 77ships (11036) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 16, 2011

: appearance red/amber with an off-white/beige head, aroma has lots of grapefruit hops, some slight sorachi ace as well as plenty of earthly hops & pine, floral, taste is floral, lots slightly soapy grapefruit hops, very strong earthy hops, very bitter with a slight fruity (peach) taste, slight cheese, herbal, aftertaste is very lasting pine bitterness, unfortunately a bit watery
What a fantastic IPA. This is finally a European IPA that competes with the best in America. Aroma is a tad lacking with notes of citrus, malts, and grass. Taste is wonderfully balanced with nice bitterness and mellow sweetness and a crisp dry finish. Jade (435) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 16, 2011
Hazy amber gold with a creamy biege head. Honey and fruit aroma, with hints of something that make me think it will be bitter. Very bitter fruit taste, really hangs around the back of the throat. Great drop. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - SEP 15, 2011
sweetih grassy aroma. Dark orange pour. great complex flavors. Grassy citrus flavors. The finish just continues into more citrus and floral flavors. Fuck yea mikell!
