Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Pours a deep amber with classic mikkeller creamy white thick head. The nose is bloody lovely, just up my street, really aromatic without being too overpowering. Lovely complex smells, you just keep getting a whiff of something else each time you sniff, lovely sweet melon, grapefruit, lemon zest, a nice floral note, some light resin, bang on. The palate is full and smooth, spot on conditioining & great flavours. Tons of sweet malty biscuit with real zesty lemon & grapefruit coming through on the juicy bitter finish. Great beer, this ones all about that sublime nose for me.

Great IPA. Strong piney and earthy aroma. Nice copper color with a good white foamy head. Full body and medium weight. Just enough carbonation. Their beers are always well-balanced and this did the same with strong bitterness throughout and a honey malt undertone.

Pours kind of dirty brownish, light brown, not really orange. Aroma is at first bit metallic, when it stays in the glass longer, it gets a bit better, citrus and hop resins are coming out. Some fruit sweetness there as well. Tastes a bit messy. Yes, hops are there, bitterness is strong and you can feel resins, pine needles, whatever you need to feel - but it does not feel balanced, it’s not light and it could be better. Was hoping something better to be honest, maybe not a perfect can but well, all Mikkeller cans can’t be bad.

tomer (3521) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JUN 8, 2017
Draught, small to medium creamy head, quite clwar orange to gold color, fruity aroma with herbs and a piney hint, fruity malty flavor, with just a jint of something buttery and a medium shrubby bitterness that becomes stronger and dominating, quite sweet just a bit too much. Nice and solid.

22-04-2017; draft; All your friends, Moscow, Russia. The looks of the beer are average. The beer has a rather dark yellowish brown color and is quite cloudy. Not that appetising to be honest. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft white foam is formed. After a while the majority has collapsed. The smell of the beer is lovely. It is a real good IPA smell. It is very hoppy and fruity. I smell aromas of citrus fruit, lots of grapefruit and some passionfruit. It smells very tropical. Malts aren’t very much present; the hops are just to strong. The taste is pretty much the same. I taste nice strong fruity hops. They give both bitterness and sweetness, but also a nice fruity sour touch. Lovely. There are some malty flavours to, giving some nice balance to the hops. The palate is nice. Medium body, little bit sticky texture and strong carbonation. The finish is long and very fruity. Nice. All in all, a lovely fruity hoppy IPA. I like this.

Pallleon (363) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 13, 2017
Opálos borostyán szín. Nagy és tartós hófehér hab. Komlós, gyümölcsös illat. Kicsit édesen indul, aztán vált át az IPA-nál megszokott keserűbe. Komlós, grapefruitos íz.
