At Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Cloudy dark brown with a lasting tan head. Funky brett aroma with dark berry notes. Sweet and slightly tart flavour with roasted character, funky notes and blackberries in the finish Leighton (22773) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2012
Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours rich brown with a foamy, beige head. Dark malts, faint citrus and yeast in the nose. A bit of toasty dough, too. Big sweet flavor, moderately roasty with some chocolate bar and burnt cocoa. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Modestly earthy bitterness on the finish with some burnt wood, dark chocolate and burnt toast. Pretty nice.
