Draft glass @ Gollem. I always found this series problematic with strange overly salty qualities, sour cabbage profile & frequent lack of fruit but this one totally fell flat for me. I enjoyed most entries but they never seemed like they were what they were supposed to be but this one is a total miss. Pale golden, soapy white head. Nose is massive cleaning product, chemical, bafflingly salty & sour cabbage juice. Taste is plastic, whatever apricot is here is like oddly sweet, lemonade, cleaning product, sour cabbage, strangely salty, cleaning product,… Cleaning product body, nope.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2018 Hazy light yellow with moderate white crispy head. Sherbety apricot aroma, however to too intense or sweet. Taste is similar, quite a tart apricot flavour. I think Berliners can sometimes be a little plain however this has heaps of flavour.

Can. A- Tart, mild citrus,. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Iron, metal, tart, plastic, rubber. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, metallic finish. O- I keep buying these Mikkeller Berliners for a steep price and they keep sucking. When will I stop. This was very heavy on the iron/metallic taste and a lot of acidic tartness. Not near enough apricot or natural flavor. Just a disappointing beer. I love apricot so it was extra sad.

Can. Slightly hazy pale yella. Sour yeasty aroma. Sourest berliner weisse Ive had yet, dry, with the yeast that tastes like a glass of milk and lemonade at the same time. The apricot comes through in the finish, but not as much as I would have liked. Cool beer anyways, I like theyre brewing the style in so many varieties.

Draught. Enjoyed it, good appricot projection, tastes better than most berliners I've tried, actually a bit after a dissolved lambic. Refreshing, juicy, yummy.

Pours a hazy pale yellow from the gushing can with huge fluffy white head that leaves good lacing after it slowly dissipates. Aroma of lemon like acidity and earthy must, a hint of sweet wheat. Taste has more acidity, a touch metallic, and lots of fruit, wheat is covered. Not bad, but not worth the price point.

Can. A bit vigorous upon opening, perhaps an infection? Pours clear, gold, with a large gold head. Paper with some apricot and musk. Medium bodied, fuzzy paper, musk,a little acidity. Slow musk, acid again, softly tart. Possibly an off can.

Wish I was drinking this in the summer isntead of December. Very light, crisp and refreshing. Fruity tinge balances out the sourness. Picked up at Beertopia in Omaha in 2017.

Light Berliner sharpness on the aroma, the apricot gives a gentle sweetness on the tongue, very refreshing.
