COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: At Mikkeller we believe that it is among the inventive amateurs that the wildest beers are being brewed and it is precisely those brewers that we like to work with. That is why we have a competition each year to test who can brew the most intense hop bomb. This year, Søren Davids won that competition.
This beer is brewed as a collaboration between Søren Davids and Mikkeller.

Bottle. Fruity, citrusy IPA with a small bitterness in the end. Notes of gooseberries, sweet grape and citrus candy. Easy to drink. Well balanced

finol (3428) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2012
Bottle at Bishops Linnégatan. Pours hazy with lots of yeast and a apricot coloured head. Fresh and fruity brew with a taste of grape seeds. Not at all bitter. Good but rather simple, a bit floury mouthfeel.

Mer humle än såhär hittar man nog inte i många öl. Men ölen är förvånansvärt fruktig och balanserad och beskan är inte för påträngande utan lite sådär lagom. Slutsats: märklig men god.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2012
(500ml bottle) Pours a cloudy orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of grass, manure, grapefruit, and peach. Flavor of caramel, citrus, grass, alcohol, and peach with a bitter finish.

thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2011
(500ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) very cloudy pour, glowing orange with a ring of white bubbles. Nose is very bright citrus and zest, pulp and all. Taste of orange pulp, citrusy, lemon, delicious! Very well balanced, not bitter, just citrusy. The way I like my pale ales.

(bottle) Pours hazy dark golden with an off-white head. The aroma is distinct hoppy with pine, black currant, resin and grapefruit up front. Undertones of tropical fruits, toasted bready malt and light yeast. Some floral notes (tulips and dandilons) as the beer gets warmer. The flavour is light sweet, medium bitter and light acidic. Resin, citrus, pine and light malt. The mouthfeel is clean and light with light to medium carbonation. Lingering hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied.

Borresteijn (7274) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 25, 2011
50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Dirty murky amber colour with lots of yeast particles, big off white head. Aroma of pungent hops, almost like cabbage, blue cheese, pine, light fruity. Flavour is sweet, a bit sugary, but mostly very hoppy, citrus, cabbage, light cheesy, pine, firm bitter finish with light soapy hints (yeast). Medium bodied. Nice.
