COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: At Mikkeller we believe that it is among the inventive amateurs that the wildest beers are being brewed and it is precisely those brewers that we like to work with. That is why we have a competition each year to test who can brew the most intense hop bomb. This year, Sren Davids won that competition.
This beer is brewed as a collaboration between Sren Davids and Mikkeller.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy amber beer, little white head. Palate starts dry but turns softer. Dry carbonated bite. Fresh grassy grapefruit hops. Piney too with some orange underneath. Dry finish. Mildy bitter aftertaste. Nice but was expecting something a bit more extreme from a beer called Hop Bomb

Orange coloured beer with an ok head. Sticks ok. Good hoppy, caramel, both citrus and red fruits. Decent light spiced. Expected a bit more hops.

Vaiz (4420) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 4, 2011
Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thick foamy white head that leaves loads of lacing. Aroma is full of hops, pine, floral, fruity and very lovely. The flavor is what you would expect from a very hoppy beer. Full of bitter pine, floral richness and a fruity sweet touch. Great balance. Very nice brew.

Mycket stor humledoft, lagom balanserad smak av humle och frukt, mycket frsch och fin. Extremt ltt att dricka.

Orange to red colored hazy beer with a small white head. Micro-pearled carbonation. Massive aroma of grapefruit. Taste is the same, but balanced with some malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Nice bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy orange/amber with a large white head. Really a lot of hops in both the aroma and taste. Also resin, pine, grape. Very drinkable, and not as bitter as expected, actually quite balanced in some way.

Its an unclear, warm golden beer with a creamy and lasting head. The nose is met by a basket full of exotic fruits and citrus. The moderately sweet flavour has a very dry mouth-feel, and notes from the entire fruit basket followed by the citrus fruits to put it short: Its a lovely hop-juice. The finish is dry and slightly bitter.

From SkjoldBurne, Aarhus, DK. Bottled, 190411. Amber with white head. Aroma of grapefruit and malt. Flavor with citrus, caramel and fruit. Too bitter for an APA.

Bottle, bought @ FairBar, Aarhus.
Muddy orange with a nice, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has powerful hops, citrus, pine, apricot, light apple, resiny. Medium carbonation, very dry mouthfeel. Flavour has good bitterness, light malty sweetness in the back. Citrus, light piney, mild apricot and peach. Long, lingering bitterness. Fairly one-sided, but fine nonetheless.

Bottled. Orange coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma of citrus, pine, sweetness, some grape, caramel. Flavour of herbs and pine and flowers. Loads of citrus and grape. Some caramel notable. Medium to full bodied. Has a grapy and flowery heavy bitterness in the end. Very nice.
