English: At Mikkeller we believe that it is among the inventive amateurs that the wildest beers are being brewed and it is precisely those brewers that we like to work with. That is why we have a competition each year to test who can brew the most intense hop bomb. This year, Sren Davids won that competition.
This beer is brewed as a collaboration between Sren Davids and Mikkeller.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, lending it notes of grapefruit, grass, lemon peal, and alfa acid. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, lemon peal, grapefruit, and malt, leading to a dry and bitter finish. The body is on the light side - I guess it has a low level of residual sugar.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy amber beer, little white head. Palate starts dry but turns softer. Dry carbonated bite. Fresh grassy grapefruit hops. Piney too with some orange underneath. Dry finish. Mildy bitter aftertaste. Nice but was expecting something a bit more extreme from a beer called Hop Bomb
