4/21/2011 12:53:28 PM Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice golden body with puffy head. Nice nose of fruits and pine. Taste is hoppy, pines, bitter and sorta sweet. Really nice. An enjoyable bomb for sure. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - SEP 3, 2014
660 ml bottle at home. Pours hazy dark orange with a thin white head. The nose is obviously no more of the fresh hops, but instead there is a very nice dried apricot smell that is really balanced and special. Some orange peel as well. The beer held up quite well (to be Mikkeller) and the body is full sweet with again that extreme peachy undertone. Medium bitter end. Taste is dried apricot, some plum, pink peach and a tiny bit of smoke by the end. Nice angel77 (3758) - oviedo, SPAIN - NOV 21, 2013
Meget bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy deep golden with a lively off-white head. Fresh, tropical fruit aroma, slightly caramellish. Medium body, lively carbonation, a little toffeeish, again fresh tropical fruit accents. Not overly bitter though. 030812

Bottle at home from My Brewery Tap (courtesy of my fiancée, thank you!)
I’m aware that this bottle is now at the end of its shelf life;so interesting to see how it compares. Pours hazy amber with a dollop of cream head. On the nose its pine resin and mango, plus a lot of sweet malt. Gentle carbonation, mango, sweet malt, marmelade and a fair amount of pithy bitterness. More pith in the finish, would have loved to try this fresh. Palme (4817) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 23, 2012
0.5l bottle from beermerchants.com The Bomb Challenge pours a cloudy honey-orange body and it has a nice medium sized bubbly off-white head. The aroma is quite hoppy and fruity, it has a strong and malty present also, lots and lots of pine and also some tones of citrus and more fruits. It has a fantastic slick and oily texture! Really different from other IPA’s and it’s average to softly carbonated. Fruity and hoppy flavors indeed. It’s actually really fruity! Lots of peaches, passion fruit, mango and actually a hint of pineapple as well. Lasting flavors and it’s leaving the tongue just a little bit dry in the finish. Really tasty and refreshing this one. 09.04.2012 eeez (47) - Thatcham, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2012
Decent hoppy ipa. Nowhere near as bitter as the name suggests, this is a standard, nice drinkable beer.

500ml Bottle: Got in trade from stobbe74; THANKS Soeren! Aroma of hops, Earth, malt, and some citrus. Poured a muddy light brown in color with a large, creamy, dense, tan head that lasted throughout. Very hazy/cloudy. Opaque. Very sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, Earth, light pine, light resin, slight citrus, and slight caramel malt. Medium body. Tingly texture. Lively carbonation. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, hop, Earth, citrus, slight pine, slight resin finish. I think a fresh bottle would have been better, but I will take what I can get! Barrelbelly (750) - BELGIUM - MAR 25, 2012
Golden with large head. Citrus and grassy hop aroma. Taste also grassy with some bitter aftertaste of grapefruit.
