Bottle. Clear deep golden with a fluffy white head. Orange lemon caramel and cereal grain aroma and taste with a floral finish and a big hop resin bitterness. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Bottle: Orangish straw, very hazy, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing. Strong sweet pithy aroma. A bit candyish in that there is a slight pixie stix powdery sugar aspect too. Similar tongue, not terribly bitter but flavorful. Sweet pithy citrusy flavor, but also has that pixie stix powder like sugary presense. Seems most Danish IIPAs have this. The 10% ABV is fairly well hidden, a bit warming but not hot. A bit above average. BK7 (773) - Turner, Oregon, USA - JUL 22, 2012
2012 Portland International Beerfest. Citrus with a big bitter bite throughout. Tasty. Crompt (122) - York, South Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Smells just like orange juice. Very hoppy and citrus tasting that lingers. Sweetness at the end balances the extreme hoppiness nicely. A huge ipa I’m a big fan of. stchloe (1104) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Good imperial IPA tastes something like drinking liquified hops and pine cones, nice bitter yums!

Bottle at Blue Monk. Cloudy grapefruit coloured body, with a good amount of head and lace. Hoppy aroma. Grapefruit and orange citrus taste. Big IBU but not a palate eraser, though a big astringent. Good drinkability.

Hazy deep golden pour with a orange tint, frothy creamy off white head lots of sticky lacing .... aroma of chewy caramel malts, citrusy fruity hops (light lemon and orange) .... taste is of rindy citrusy hops (orange and lemons), spicy and bitter with caramel and lightly toasted malts on the back end .... finish is of a bitter/spicy hop "burn" that lingers .... abv hidden well ... mouthfeel is lively and a little oily ... solid considering the abv osu97gp (678) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Pours a cloudy orange with a long lasting small off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and caramel malts with a slight hint of alcohol. Flavor of sweet malt with a bunch of bitterness at the finish and some warming from the alcohol. Hussey (60) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 12, 2012
20 cl tasting glass @ Mikkeller bar in Copenhagen, Denmark. Bright orange, amber pour. Short lived lacy head. Aroma of citrus and pine. My kid (18 yo but not a beer drinker) said "it smells like orange juice". I concur. The taste was a unique IPA experience. Great balance of ingredients. A pleasure from start to finish. Palate coated in an ocean of obvious west coast hoppiness. The lemony-citrus hop road has a big pine/resinous stripe down the middle. Just enough malt for the hops to hold onto. Reminds me of Green Flash West Coast IPA but with a bit more complexity. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2012
Amber colored pour. Sizable white head that fades pretty quickly and leaves plenty of lacing behind. Nice malty aroma underneath a smattering of hops. Some notes of cereal. Nice. Taste is a sweet malty, hop amalgamation. Plenty of body and a nice bitter finish with a little dryness. Pretty tasty.
